Announcing Our Series B: Defining the Next Era of Commerce with AI

When we started FERMÀT, we saw an urgent need: marketers were struggling to deliver tailored shopping experiences across the multitude of channels consumers use to engage with brands. Privacy shifts had broken many of the traditional playbooks, and the tools on the market weren’t designed for marketers who wanted to match every message with a journey.

Since then, the need for dynamic commerce experiences has only grown. Today, we’re proud to share that FERMÀT has raised a $45M Series B led by VMG Partners, with continued support from our partners at QED Investors, Greylock, Bain Capital Ventures, and Courtside Ventures. (See Axios coverage) This round marks an exciting step in our mission to bring the best shopping journeys for consumers and agents, to every brand.

From Concept to Category Creator

What started as an insight — shopper behavior is different in different store environments — has grown into a platform powering commerce journeys for some of the most iconic brands in the world, including BISSELL, Glossier, ILIA Beauty, GNC, and Unilever’s Olly.

FERMÀT now powers the full journey from ad to shop to checkout, for both human and agentic shoppers with experiences that feel personal, contextual, and frictionless.

We’re using this capital to grow our team across AI/ML, enterprise sales, and agency strategy. We’re investing in our infrastructure to support the largest behavioral graph of both human and agentic shoppers. And we’re doubling down on the vision we started with: helping marketers create personalized, high-converting experiences at scale — without needing an army of engineers.

Over the next decade, we believe every commerce experience, whether it starts in an ad, an SMS, a chatbot, or even a store, will be generated dynamically, personalized deeply, and optimized continuously.
