What Shipped

FERMÀT now supports Shopify Markets end-to-end. Brands using Shopify Markets deliver fully localized shopping experiences on FERMÀT — buyer-appropriate currency from the first page load through cart and checkout — with revenue reporting that reflects those currencies in our analytics pipeline.

How It Works

  • Localized prices at page load if a market is configured. Visitor location detected, Shopify Storefront API queried with country context, prices resolved before the page is served. No client-side flicker.
  • Cart and checkout in sync. Country context flows through to cart creation and Shopify checkout — the currency a shopper sees on the landing page is the same at checkout.
  • Revenue reporting that reflects reality. International transactions tracked by currency. Per-market performance without manual reconciliation.
  • Graceful degradation built in. Brands without Shopify Markets see zero change. Unsupported countries fall back to Shopify's backup region pricing.
  • No code changes required. Activates automatically when a brand has Shopify Markets configured and a storefront token active.
